  1. How do I register with Addstaff?
    It takes just a few simple steps to work with us. Register online (there's a link right here), then come and meet us in person so we can put a face to a name. When you register make sure you upload a photo of yourself, your CV, proof of your Working Holiday Visa, your bank account and your IRD number (if you have it). We do not accept CV's emailed to us as a registration.


  2. How do I get staff to help my business?
    Simply send us an email with your staffing requirements and contact details and we’ll do our best to find you the right people. Check out our “Find Staff” page for more details.


  3. Do I need a Working Holiday Visa to work with Addstaff?
    Yes, it is absolutely essential to be on a Working Holiday Visa or that you are a New Zealand/Australian resident to work with us. Take a look at the NZ immigration web page.


  4. Do I need a bank account and IRD number to work with Addstaff?
    We understand that it may take a few weeks to get your bank account and IRD number set up, so you can take on work without this information, but you must provide us with these numbers when you get them.


  5. What are the Addstaff office hours?
    Our office is open Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.


  6. What types of jobs does Addstaff offer?
    The nature of our business is temporary work, however we do also have part and full time jobs. Check out our “Find a Job” for more details about the types of work we offer.


  7. When is the best time to find work in Queenstown?
    Queenstown has high and low seasons. Our busiest months are November to March and our slowest months are May to July. Keep this in mind when you’re planning to move to Queenstown.


  8. Once registered, how will you contact me when work is available?
    We usually communicate with all our temps via text message. Make sure you’ve got a New Zealand number so that we can get in touch with you quickly and easily.


  9. How do I find out about full time and permanent jobs?
    Come into the office to talk with us about the full time and permanent roles we’re looking to fill as they change monthly. Also check out the featured job posting.


  10. Is it possible to secure a job before I arrive in Queenstown?
    Unfortunately, most employers will only hire those in the immediate Queenstown area, so once you’ve relocated, register online and come visit us in the office to discuss job opportunities. 


  11. What's the best way to file my taxes?
    The New Zealand tax year runs from April 1 - March 31. To file your taxes, simply ask us for an Earnings Certificate, which summarizes your total earnings with Addstaff, or visit here to get started.
